Nothin' like 'em
Outback Music Festival managing Director Greg Donavan said the two events - held in spectacular outback locations - are unlike any other in the world.
"People come in from every corner of the country for a unique bucket-list experience that's all about celebrating Aussie music, this incredible Outback land, community spirit, and just getting stuck in and having a good time," he said.
Mr Donavan said tickets to the Birdsville Bash sold out within a week last year, and tickets to the Mundi Mundi Bash within a couple of months.
Plenty to do
Off stage, each event will also feature a wide-ranging program of outback activities, including Nutbush City Limits World Record dance off and Mad Max costume dress up attempts, the famous Mundi Undie Run at Mundi Mundi and the Bashville Drags fundraiser at Birdsville.
Other events and activities will include sunrise sand dune yoga, dunny door painting, comedy and outdoor film screenings, scenic helicopter flights and camel rides.
While event locations are remote, they are easily accessible by road, especially Mundi Mundi, which has sealed roads leading all the way to the event site.
Both events are now also offering three-day roll-in options, allowing guests to arrive early, get set up and get to know their Bash neighbours before the entertainment starts the following day. Single and two day passes are also available.
