Hit musical Beauty and The Beast will head to Brisbane and Melbourne in 2024, after a highly successful season in Sydney earlier this year.
Audiences can expect a night of spectacle and grandeur when the show heads to Brisbane's Lyric Theatre in February, to be followed by a season at Melbourne's Her Majesty's Theatre from June.
Based on the smash hit 1991 film, the musical is one of the top 10 longest running shows in Broadway history and has toured 37 countries worldwide.
The stage adaptation of the musical debuted on Broadway in 1994, earning nine Tony Award nominations and winning one.
The film that inspired it was the first animated feature film to be nominated for Best Picture at the Academy Awards.
The score by Alan Menken, Howard Ashman and Tim Rice includes beloved numbers such as Belle, Gaston, Human Again, Be Our Guest and the unforgettable title song first made famous by Angela Lansbury's Mrs Potts.
The production will star Shubshri Kandiah as Belle, Brendan Xavier as Beast and Rohan Browne as Lumiere.
Other cast members will include Jackson Head as Gaston; Gareth Jacobs as Cogsworth; Jayde Westaby as Mrs Potts; Nick Cox as Le Fou; Rodney Dobson as Belle's father, Maurice; Hayley Martin as Babette and Alana Tranter as Madame.
The show is directed and choreographed by Olivier Award nominee Matt West.
