It's the tale as old as time - and beloved musical Beauty and the Beast is headed back to the stage in Sydney.

Audiences can expect a night of spectacle and grandeur when the show returns to the Capitol Theatre from June 14.
Based on the smash hit 1991 film, the musical is one of the top 10 longest running shows in Broadway history and has toured 37 countries worldwide.
The stage adaptation of the musical debuted on Broadway in 1994, earning nine Tony Award nominations and winning one.
The film that inspired it was the first animated feature film to be nominated for Best Picture at the Academy Awards.
The score by Alan Menken, Howard Ashman and Tim Rice includes beloved numbers such as Belle, Gaston, Human Again, Be Our Guest and the unforgettable title song first made famous by Angela Lansbury's Mrs Potts.
Presented by the producers of Aladdin, The Lion King, Mary Poppins and Frozen, the production stars Shubshri Kandiah as Belle, Brendan Xavier as Beast and Rohan Browne as Lumiere.
Other principal actors include Andy Cook as Gaston, Gareth Jacobs as Cogsworth, Jayde Westaby as Mrs Potts and Nick Cox as Le Fou.
The show is directed and choreographed by Olivier Award nominee Matt West.
