The 25th anniversary production of Riverdance is set to tour Perth, Melbourne, Brisbane and Sydney next April.
The show will present a powerful and stirring reinvention of the smash hit dance show, which has been celebrated the world over for its energy and passion.
The show has been reimagined by producer Moya Doherty and director John McColgan, featuring new video, and spectacular lighting, stage and costume designs. It will also include a re-recorded version of composer Bill Whelan's captivating soundtrack.
Riverdance first came to Australia in 1997, capturing the hearts of audiences with its fusion of Irish and international dancing, music, and visuals.
The show went on to tour the nation five times between 1997 and 2012 - selling 830,000 tickets.
The 25th Anniversary show has been touring the world since 2020 with sold out seasons in North America, the UK, Europe and Dubai. This year it returned home to Dublin for record breaking runs.
Throughout its history, Riverdance has played more than 15,000 performances across 49 countries and six continents. The show has been seen live by more than 30 million people.
