Dire Straits Legacy features many key original members of Dire Straits who contributed towards their unique sound as well as recording and touring with the band, becoming integral contributors to their success, selling more than 120 million albums worldwide and becoming a household name.
Dire Straits Legacy features Alan Clark, Dire Straits' first keyboardist, Grammy Award winner and Rock'n'Roll Hall of Fame inductee 2018; Phil Palmer and Danny Cummings, who both recorded the fabulous On Every Street; and Mel Collins who played saxophone on Love Over Gold and Twisting By The Pool. All of these players performed live with Dire Straits on multiple global tours.
The lineup is complemented by keyboardist Primiano Di Biase, George Michael's bassist Steve Walters, drummer Alex Polifrone and frontman Marco Caviglia.
Drawing from six platinum albums, the band's live show features all of the classic Dire Straits hits including Money for Nothing, Sultans of Swing, Romeo and Juliet, Walk of Life, Brothers in Arms and Tunnel of Love.
Joining Dire Straits Legacy are Scottish band Nazareth, who rose out of the pubs, clubs and dance halls of their homeland in 1970 and became one of the most successful rock bands in the world.
They have released 25 studio albums and have had hits including Love Hurts, Dream On, This Flight Tonight and Hair Of The Dog.
