Starting with just 10 events, a lot has happened since Scenic Rim Eat Local Week kicked off in 2011. Next month when it returns it will feature the biggest program in its history, with more than 125 events across 48 locations.

With signature foodie experiences are coming to places ranging from Canungra to Lost World, Beaudesert to Boonah, Tamborine Mountain to Kalbar, the program features festivals, farm-gate events and culinary experiences for foodies of all ages.
Offerings include Jamming with the Lambs at Towri Sheep Cheeses, Breakfast with the Jersey Girls at Tommerup's Dairy Farm, Beer & Banter at the Scenic Rim Brewery and the Kalbar-BQ.
Or take your pick from long lunches and degustations under the stars, Kalfresh Carrot Day and the Winter Harvest Festival, wine tastings, cocktail masterclasses and sunset experiences.

An entree highlight to Eat Local Week is the Decade of Delicious dinner at Rosewood Estate on the Lamington Plateau at Beechmont on June 19.
This event stars Scenic Rim regional food ambassadors Josue Lopez, Ash Martin, Javier Codina, Kate Raymont, Glen Barratt, Cameron Mathews and Brenda Fawdon.
Eat Local Week is set against the beauty of the Scenic Rim, a region of more than 4200 sq km of rich volcanic soil surrounded by ancient mountains and home to thousands of farmers and food creators.
While you're there you might like to have a sensory experience at Tamborine Mountain Coffee Plantation, learn Thai fusion cooking, enjoy dinner under the stars with the Scenic Rim Astronomy Association or go on a sunset ecotour at Mount Barney Lodge .
