GRAB your rods and head to the wilderness for a NSW fishing holiday with a difference.
Anglers trying to catch a more remote getaway experience will be hooked when they stay at one of the 14 Eco Fishing Huts around the state.
The National Parks and Wildlife Service has teamed with the Department of Primary Industries to promote the huts, which are dotted around coastal and inland national parks.
The huts cover a range of fishing experiences from Warialda in the north and Eden in the south to Bourke in the west.
The locations give fishers the chance to target key recreational sportfish such as Australian bass, Murray cod and trout in freshwater rivers and streams, as well as popular saltwater species including bream, flathead and mulloway.
Plans are also under way to expand the Eco Fishing Huts program with more fishing accommodation options.
