IF YOUR partner suggests a camping holiday to mark Valentine's Day this year, don't be too quick to say "No way".
They might, in fact, be proposing a visit to Balgownie Estate Bendigo, one of Australia's premium working vineyards, and a stay in one of its beautiful new glamping tents.
The estate in central Victoria has permanently set up 15 luxury Bell ensuite tents with stunning views of the vineyards.
Each fully furnished tent has a queen-size bed, split system air conditioning, mini bar fridge, and tea and coffee facilities. All have decks with an outdoor lounge setting.
And forget cooking. You can pop into Balgownie Estate's restaurant for a-la-carte breakfast, lunch and dinner.
The tents are available from February 1 and start from $205 per night with glamping and dining packages also available.
To celebrate Valentine's Day, Balgownie Estate is offering 25 per cent off those booking a glamping experience throughout February. Enter the code 'valentine25' online to receive the offer, which expires on February 28.
From March, the estate will open seven luxurious suites in the homestead on the property. They will be priced from $120 per night.
