Australia's most successful Irish dance show is set to explode back onto Australian stages over the upcoming months with a spectacular new staging of their hugely successful show, A Taste Of Ireland direct from Off-Broadway.

This theatrical spectacle hits the Sydney State Theatre on May 2, amongst dates in both regional and metropolitan New South Wales, Tasmania, Western Australia, Northern Territory and Queensland.

Seen by more than 150,000 people worldwide, this Australian company has enjoyed sell-out seasons in the UK, USA, Australia and New Zealand and has merged cultural tradition, with modern flair and craic galore - to deliver a stunning performance that brings the house down every night.

Audiences are invited to join the acclaimed cast of champion Irish dancers from across the globe, alongside immensely talented musicians and vocalists, as they collectively weave their magic to deliver intricate choreography that is 100 per cent live.

With revamped musical classics like Danny Boy and Tell Me Ma, the show's live, energetic blend of jaw-dropping live acapella tap battles and world-class dancing, mixed with melodic folk music mashups and craic galore transports you through the story of Ireland's tumultuous history.

Co-producer/director Brent Pace says he is "absolutely thrilled" for the final Australian tour of A Taste of Ireland.

The cast of A Taste of Ireland features some of the world's best dancers from shows such as Riverdance and Lord of the Dance, including:

  • Gavin Shevlin (Donegal, Ireland: Two-time world champion from Riverdance & Lord of the Dance)
  • Sean Michael McHugh (Belfast, Ireland: Two-time world champion from Lord of the Dance), and
  • Ciara Loughran (Liverpool, UK: Senior ladies world champion from Lord of the Dance).
