A daring act over a waterfall secured the winning spot for Photo of the Month, a breathtaking moment captured by Lorraine Horton, of Brisbane, for May.

She has won a copy of the beautiful book London Through a Fashion Eye by Megan Hess and a 12-month subscription to The Senior.
Lorraine captured Gooafoss Waterfall, or Waterfall of the Gods, near Akureyri in northern Iceland. The water falls 12 metres and there are some canoeists who risk their lives by paddling over it.

The theme for June will be "ANIMALS", while July's theme is "PEOPLE" so get snapping. You are only limited by your imagination.
Our editor Desiree Savage will judge the photos on the 20th of each month and a winner will be used across all six print editions Australia-wide.
Please email your entries to edit@thesenior.com.au with Photo of the Month in the subject line. Include a few words about where the photo was taken and, of course, which state.
The main winner of each month will receive The Senior.
