Whether you like your cars with chrome, plastic or carbon fibre bumpers, there will be something for everyone at the McLaren Vale Vintage and Classic when it rolls into the wine-soaked town.
More than 600 entrants are expected to get involved in the parade on Sunday, April 14, after more than 20,000 spectators lined the town's streets for last year's event.
All vehicles will begin their journey at the front of Serafino McLaren Vale, before rolling for the two kilometre drive along Main Road from 11am, where spectators can watch from the sidelines.
From there, cars will descend on the properties of various wineries and other venues for the public to admire in several show and shines and enjoy great vintage fashion, local wines, gourmet food, and live entertainment.
The participating venues are Lloyd Brothers, Paxton Wines, Hardy's Tintara, Kay Brothers, Shingleback Wines, Hastwell & Lightfoot Wines, Bec Hardy Wines, The Vine Shed, Chalk Hill, Richard Hamilton, Shirvington Wines, Foxcreek, McLaren Vale & Fleurieu Coast Visitor Centre and Serafino McLaren Vale.
An annual charity dinner will be held the night before on Saturday, April 13, with legendary two-time Supercars Championship race winner Cameron McConville as the special guest speaker.
At last year's charity event, $10,000 was donated to the Women's & Children's Hospital Foundation 'Laklinyeri' Beach House at Victor Harbor, helping families of children in palliative care or with complex care needs the chance to have a family holiday.
Also, $3000 was donated to the Southern Koala & Echidna Rescue for specialist equipment for their new Medical Service Centre, and $100 was shared between two local CFS units.
Entries for vintage, classic, and motorcycle vehicles to participate in the parade cost $40 each and close on Saturday, March 23.
