Roma's Easter in the Country is back again this year with an exciting five-day program showcasing the best of Queensland country lifestyle.
Recognised as one of Queensland's premier events, the festival features some of the best entertainment you will experience over the Easter weekend as well as a range of activities for the thrill-seeker, the cultural and culinary buffs and those who like to take things a little more leisurely.
From March 28 to April 1, Roma and it's residents will throw open their town and their hearts to the thousands of visitors who flock to this popular regional event.
The ever exciting Easter Sunday Rodeo from 8am to 8pm attracts some of Australia's best rodeo performers while this year's East Sunday evening live music will see Viper Creek Band & Adam Brand at the all-ages event from 7-10pm.
Every day of Easter in the Country is jam packed with activities from walks to art shows, a fishing competition to a quilting show, Outback Tucker under the Stars featuring Dan and Steph from My Kitchen Rules and a beef inspired dinner at the Roma Saleyards, to the colourful Easter Saturday Street Parade, markets, horse racing, dog racing and speedway.
There are regular performances on the main stage, miniature train rides, evening museum tours, bush ballads, bush poetry, the Big Rig Night Show Sunset Experience and of course the Easter bunny.
