The festival will be held over the weekend of March 2-3 and will transform Queen Victoria Market into a traditional Turkish street bazaar, where visitors will experience the tastes, colours and sounds of Turkey through food, music, arts and crafts and cultural displays.
Numerous food stalls will entice the taste buds - gozleme, kebabs, Turkish Delight and sweet pastries like baklava. Follow this with authentic Turkish coffee.
Stage performances will feature traditional Turkish bands to delight all ages.
A highlight will be The Australian Ottoman Marching Band will perform their precision drill.
The colourful band is the first Ottoman-style marching band formed outside of Turkey.
Entry to the festival is free.
The festival runs frpm 10am-4pm both days.
