Police were called to help the trapped beagles as bushfires raged on October 31 in Dalveen, on the state's border with NSW.
Officers had to cut through a fence to rescue the pups as flames surrounded their yard.

One of the officers is heard reassuring the dogs as she loads them into the safety of the police vehicle.
The touching video was shared on social media with the Queensland Police Service expressing its gratitude for emergency services and community members working together during the time of crisis.
Firefighters battled 900 vegetation fires across Queensland between October 21 and November 1 including in the Western Downs region where nearly 60 structures were damaged.
