It is the art event that is determinedly different, and there will be plenty of points of difference when NotFair returns this month.
The biennial event will take place from December 8-13 with new curators, a new set of venues and new lineup of artists.
The 11th iteration of the fair will be curated by Darren Tanny Tan and Linsey Gosper, with original founders Sam Leach, Tony Lloyd and Ash Crawford stepping aside in favour of "fresh blood".

A total of 41 artists have been selected for this year's event, including Alexandra Nemaric, Bon Mott, Chelsea Lehmann, Jamie Edward, Lily Palmer, Mike Singe, Teva Cosic and Zac Chester.
Artists range from emerging, to mid-career and well established, but have all been selected because the curators believe more people need to see their work.
This year's main show is titled Alchemy and will be held at 333 Malvern Road South Yarra (previously Joel's Auction Rooms).
Companion exhibition, Das Kapital will feature video and new media and will be curated by Victorian College of the Arts staff, Brie Trenerry, Amanda Morgan and Kieran Boland. The exhibition will be held at the former bank building at 236 Chapel Street, Prahran.
Fashion house Scanlan Theodore has signed on as major venue sponsor for this year's event, which will also be supported by Bendigo Bank and Stonnington council.
