In a frightening late-night encounter, a man has been caught on camera trying to halt a driver in the middle of a Queensland road.
The creepy incident was captured on a dashcam along Pinelands Road in Sunnybank Hills, 17 kilometres south of Brisbane's CBD, on October 20.
In the video, a man appears on the street in front of the car with an object in his hand, moving towards the vehicle, seemingly trying to block its path.
The driver quickly does a U-Turn on the non-busy road to avoid the person and travels back up the road in the opposite direction.
Startled by the experience, the driver shared the vision to Facebook.
Queensland Police has received the video.
