Presented by the Art House and Words on the Waves Writers Festival, the Q & A style event will see the popular personality discussing her extraordinary life and career.
With a career spanning four decades, Wendy Harmer has proven to be a true survivor in the cut-throat media industry, finding success as a journalist, columnist, TV host, author, playwright, comic performer and the highest paid woman in Sydney FM Radio.

She achieved all of this despite a number of setbacks, including being born with a severe facial deformity and her mother going missing when she was 10.
Her teacher father also constantly moved, forcing Wendy, who had been dubbed 'the funny looking kid' to have to constantly develop new strategies to fit in.
The book reflects on Wendy's life with the comedian's trademark frankness and wit.

"I've always believed where there's a chance, you have to take it... or invent it," she said.
The launch will take place in The Art House's intimate Black Box Studio and will be followed by an opportunity to purchase the book and have it signed by Wendy herself.
It will take place from 7pm and the price is $20.
