A beautifully captured image of a Pixie's Parasol mushroom has won the top prize in the 2023 Seniors Card Through the Lens photographic competition.
Lawrence Vassallo capture the image, titled Early morning opportunity, in the early morning with a perfectly placed drop of dew on top of the brilliant blue mushroom, capturing the light forest around it.

The winning photo was chosen from more than 660 images and will feature on the SA 2024 Seniors Card Discounts and Deals Directory.

"This year's talented finalists and winners certainly achieved all that and more and show that it is never too late to start a new hobby or renew enthusiasm for an existing one."
