This year's exhibition - expected to attract 450,000 visitors over the course of 18 days - will see the return of favourites including:
- Philip Spelman and Ron Gomboc, who join the Double Decade Club;
- Lucy Barker and Ayako Saito who join the Decade Club;
- Acclaimed Chinese artist Chen Wenling;
- Australian sculptors Paul Bacon, Stephen King, Michael Le Grand, John Petrie, James Rogers and Margarita Sampson, who all exhibited in the first Sculpture by the Sea, Bondi, in 1997.
Highlights will include sessions where visitors can sink into a bean bag and hear artists' stories and find out about the processes behind their works.
Another option is to discover small sculpture at Sculpture Inside, a free public exhibition inside a pop-up marquee in Marks Park.

Visitors will be welcome to marvel at the presentation of sculpture on a small scale, displaying the diversity of the artist's practice.
It is also an opportunity to buy sculpture by emerging, mid-career and established Australian and international artists.
Visitors can also vote for their favourite sculpture in the Allens People's Choice Award. The winning artist receives $5000 and voters go in the draw to win one of three exhibition prize packs valued at $500 each.
