Fake Australian Seniors Card websites

The websites, www.seniorsportal.au and www.seniorscardportal.au, claim to offer such cards and charge applicants a fee of $29 per card. The SA and WA governments have advised the websites are bogus and the card is free.

The bogus websites have been reported to the Australian Cyber Security Centre.

If you have provided payment to an unofficial website, contact your bank immediately and make a report to Scamwatch, the Australian Government's National Anti-Scam Centre at www.scamwatch.gov.au.
