Bird-lover Georgia Angus introduces us to some of the most charismatic bird species on the planet in her new book Birds with Personality.
"The tactics used by birds are often peculiar, extravagant, ingenious, wily and memorable to boot," she writes.
From the deserts of Mexico to the rainforest-blanketed mountains of Papua New Guinea, birds have found remarkable ways to survive against vast odds.

From dancing birds of paradise to fish-charming herons, fiery Adelie penguins and fruit-loving dracula parrots, Birds with Personality will whisk you away to distant lands where you can observe some of the most amazing birds in the world and appreciate them for their beauty and brilliance.
Aussie birds in Angus' sights include the satin bowerbird, rose crowned fruit dove, rainbow lorikeet and southern cassowary.
