The fully-escorted Celtic Cruise of Britain and Ireland onboard Regal Princess departs August 4, 2024.
Starting out in London, our group will see Westminster Abbey, Big Ben, Trafalgar Square, St Paul's Cathedral and 19 Buckingham Palace state rooms before heading to Southampton to board Regal Princess for the first leg of the journey to Cork, Eire.
If the "gift of the gab" is what you're after, be sure to kiss the Blarney Stone at Blarney Castle, as legend has it to do so will bestow the gift of eloquence.
Enjoy the "craic" in Dublin, the city known for it - an enjoyable, social good time that is.
We'll also visit the home of the Book of Kells, Trinity College, as well as Ha'penny Bridge and St Patrick's Cathedral.
Next we sail to Belfast, and head ashore for a coastal road trip to the Giant's Causeway - remarkable rock formations of tightly-packed basalt columns. Later, we'll marvel at the Titanic Dry Dock before heading back to Belfast for a circuit of the city.
Liverpool then looms large with its fascinating maritime history reflected in the famous Mersey waterfront.
Of course, it's also the city that spawned super group The Beatles. We'll head to their spiritual home where they first played, the Cavern Club, before a ferry ride across the River Mersey.
Then it's off to Scotland. With its own gritty history, Glasgow could be to Scotland what Liverpool is to England. In the medieval part of town we will see the People's Palace and the Victoria Fountain.
In the evening comes one of the tour highlights - a coach ride to the capital to see the spectacle that is the Royal Edinburgh Military Tattoo in the grounds of Edinburgh Castle.
To get over the excitement, we'll spend the next day relaxing at sea before waking up in Kirkwall on the Orkney Islands - home to the 12th century sandstone Norse St Magnus' Cathedral, the 5000-year-old settlement of Skara Brae, the Standing Stones of Stenness and Stone Age Ring of Brodgar.
Scotland's ancient capital, Edinburgh, is on the horizon. We will see the Royal Mile, which runs from the Palace of Holyroodhouse to Edinburgh Castle, where the Scottish Crown Jewels and Stone of Destiny reside.
The next morning the ship docks at Le Havre, France, for another tour highlight.
A coach ride through the French countryside will take travellers to the small village of Giverny so we can spend the afternoon at the villa and gardens of Impressionist painter Claude Monet complete with lake, water lilies and little Japanese bridge all immortalised in his oil paintings.
A final night is spent is spent crossing the English Channel back to the UK and a visit to Windsor Castle before heading to London.
The 17-night Celtic Cruise of Britain and Ireland is priced from $9290 per person twin share ($12,590 single fare).
