Well, it won't be an issue for the Westfield Walkers at Innaloo, Perth, which is one of many Westfield shopping centres taking part in the walking program throughout Australia.
Westfield Walkers is an initiative run in conjunction with the City of Stirling to create a sociable and fun exercise routine for seniors.
It's a great way for people who want to start their day with a walk and talk with friends, all within the safety of the centre and without the shopping crowds.
"The entire route is safe, enclosed and has some very cool air-conditioning to keep you comfortable during the hotter months," said the centre's marketing manager Sam Langham.
Sessions are held every Monday and Thursday at 7.45am, meeting at the Innaloo Food Court.
Customers can register before each session and collect their very own team shirt.
Walkers can enter is through the western entry by the NAIDOC mural.
