And that will certainly be the case when the Victorian Association of Miniature Enthusiasts stages its annual Miniatures Fair and Exhibition at Mount Waverley on July 15-16.
Enthusiasts will be able to spend many happy hours viewing and buying ready-made items, kits, tools and more to make their own masterpieces.
Light refreshments will be available in a dedicated dining area.
The venue is Mount Waverley Community Centre, Miller Crescent, Mount Waverley (opposite train station) from 10am-4pm Saturday and 10am-3pm Sunday.
Entry is $7 adults, $3 children; $10 weekend.
If you'd like to learn more about making your own miniatures, or simply share the joy of doing so with like-minded others, the association holds monthly workshops and also has an extensive library.
