Smith produced a vast body of work between 1914 and 1942, including more than 40 picture theatres and town halls, many of which are now listed in the South Australian Heritage Register.
Heritage assessment officer Chris Burns will talk about Smith's career, works and some of his collaborators.
The talk is on Friday, March 17 at the Drill Hall, Torrens Parade Ground, Victoria Drive, Adelaide, at 5pm for drinks and nibbles, while the talk will start at 5.45pm. Cost is $10 for those having an alcoholic drink, $5 if not drinking. Payment is only by cash and at the door.
