Spread across 11 days, the inaugural event - formerly known as WOW Festival - is by artists for artists, and it will embrace and celebrate the true breadth and diversity of the voices of Australia's arts and culture.
There will be concerts, experiences, installations, exhibitions, artist talks, a shadow puppet opera, the grand opening of the Djinda Boodja Museum and Act Belong Commit Recycle Instrument Project workshops.
It's a joint project between Curate and Djinda Boodja.
Curate founder Patricia Alessi shared what the event meant to her.
"As a proud West Australian and American, it is an honour to share the unique talents of West Australian artists on a national and international scale," she said.
"Everyone always says that there is 'something in the water in WA'. It may be the most isolated place in the world, but we are bursting with talent and are regularly punching above our weight nationally and internationally."
Djinda Boodja Arts Centre director Warn [Davison] said West Australian come first.
"We are excited to showcase what we have to offer and to encourage West Australians to explore our own backyard. You don't have to go abroad or travel far. WA has a lot to offer, and we are excited to focus on local talent available here in metro Perth."
The festival is based at Djinda Boodja, 295A Manning Road, Waterford, WA 6152 and runs from January 16-27.
