The popular biannual regional festival will return to Castlemaine and Bendigo from March 24-April 9.
The festival is the oldest arts festival in Victoria, with the inaugural event dating back 47 years.
Featuring both free and ticketed events, the festival is expected to draw thousands of visitors from across Australia and overseas over the course of its 17 days.
The program will provide a feast for the ears of music lovers, with performances ranging from the big-top main stage at Western Reserve, to more intimate salon sessions at Buda Historic House and Garden. There will also be a program of classical, delicate and world music at the Town Hall.
The new festival precinct will be the site for a diverse range of arts and entertainment, including contemporary music, cabaret, circus, comedy and DJs. It will also be a great place to enjoy some delicious local food and beverages.
Some of Australia's best thinkers and authors will share their stories through the Dialogues program at Goods Shed Arts, while visitors can also get an insight into how some of the area's most talented artists go about their work through the open studios program.
Festival director Glyn Roberts said with the event taking place over Easter, it offered a great chance for families to explore the region and experience the best its artistic community had to offer.
"This is a festival for everyone, with a program filled with heart and soul that will stir imaginations and create memories," he said.
The festival program will be announced on January 28. Bookings are essential for ticketed events.
