Some of Australia's leading low vision artists will take part in an internationally broadcast concert to celebrate the achievements of blind and visually impaired people.
White Stick Fest will be broadcast online on October 15 in celebration of International White Cane Day.
An initiative of Vision Australia Radio and Platinum Cre8ive, the special broadcast will feature both Australian and international artists and will take place from 12pm Eastern Standard Time.
Blind and low vision Australian artists Rachael Leahcar (The Voice 2012), Lara Nakhle (The Voice 2017) and Connor Wink (The Voice 2022) will all perform during the online concert.
They will be joined by low vision international contemporaries Lachi, KT Tunstall, Cobhams Asuquo, Phillip Murphy and Sirine Jahangir, as well as sighted performers Sarah Mclachlan and The Wiggles.
Platinun Cre8tive owner and founder Duncan Steward said the event would connect high caliber artists to communities all over the world.
"We are trying to make White Stick Fest as accessible and inclusive as possible, delivering world-class performances right to your device," he said.
