With many airports in Europe reporting delays and congestion, now might be the time to think about travelling between European countries by train.
Melbourne-based world-wide rail travel booking service, International Rail, has a new online booking platform and a special cut rate on Eurail passes.
The platform connects directly to Rail Europe's new rail aggregation solution, opening live bookings to all major European railways, including Eurostar, Trenitalia, DB Bahn, SNCF and many more.
The company's wide range of rail passes, including Eurail and Swiss passes, are now offered as mobile passes that can be downloaded to a customer's device.
International Rail fully supports the new booking system by phone and email with its team of Australian-based rail specialists - promising peace of mind for customers with booking queries.
To celebrate the launch, International Rail and Rail Europe are offering 15 per cent off Eurail Passes until the end of July.
Bookings are self-managed, enabling customers to make changes directly in the system. As an added benefit, all rail passes and train tickets are now electronic with customers receiving them directly to their email inbox.
The company said other products and destinations will be added to the platform, with Japan Rail Passes to be released next. Products that are not able be booked online will be fulfilled by the company's support team, including premium rail products and trains in USA/Canada, Australia, NZ and Asia.
