Wild animals, hypnotic patterns and bright colours will illuminate the night in a Train of Lights experience through Victoria.
The Puffing Billing Railway is running a special travelling light show were projections will leap from open-side carriages and onto the passing dark of Wright Forest, historic timer trestle bridges and open rolling hills of the Gembrook countryside.
Working with lighting specialists Resolution X (White Night, VAMFF), it promises a great way to view the Dandenong ranges from a different angle as the passing forest and open farmlands transform into a technicolour feast.
The journey begins at Lakeside and will stop at Gembrook station, where passengers can enjoy a 55-minute stopover and take a picture with the lit-up train and station.
The Train of Lights runs from June 24-July 10.
Tickets must be bought online before departing.
