If you love locally sourced produce turned into something delectable then you aren't going to want to miss one of the nation's most exciting food festival.

Grazed and Grown by Regional Flavours, will take place at the South Bank Parklands on the weekend of June 18- 20 and bring some of Australia's top chefs to the heart of Brisbane.

Hosted by local celebrity chef Alastair McLeod and the talented Matt Kirkegaard, Grazed and Grown will allow you to experience the taste sensations and expand your culinary horizons.

Be captivated by skillful cooking demonstrations and talks with industry leaders; as they share their insights and experiences.

Listen to their stories and discover their philosophy on food. Find out why they believe beautiful seasonal produce is so important and why you too should care about sustainability.

Revel in the ambience of live music and winter rays, complimented by a cool craft beer from a home-grown brewer or a signature cocktail from 'The Country Club' bar.

While you're at it, peruse 'The Marketplace', which is absolutely jampacked with innovative ingredients, including the very best local producers and artisans have to offer, all grown within 250km of the Brisbane CBD!

There are four sessions over the event weekend:

  • EVENING SESSION: 4pm to 8pm, Friday, June 18.
  • EARLY SESSION: 11am to 3pm, Saturday, June 19.
  • EVENING SESSION 4pm to 8pm, Saturday, June 19.
  • EARLY SESSION: 11am to 3pm, Sunday, June 20.

General Admission costs just $15 (plus booking) for adults and $10 (plus booking) for children over the age of 12. It grants guests access into all areas of Grazed and Grown.

This includes 'The Greenhouse', where you can listen to passionate local producers and farmers in intimate setting, as they discuss topics ranging from native ingredients and botanical healing to mindful eating.

These conversations aim to provide insight into contemporary themes within the agricultural and farming industry and equip guests with tips and tricks to step into an eco-conscious lifestyle.

It also includes 'The Kitchen' stages, where Alastair McLeod will host a number of top chefs - including Matt Sinclair, Paul West, Alanna Sapwell and more - as they share their secrets and serve up some unforgettable recipes.

In addition, General Admission grants access to all live music areas, the before mentioned 'The Marketplace', and best of all, 'The Country Club', where you can enjoy blues, roots and acoustic performances by talented Queensland musicians, all whilst savouring the flavours from the surrounding eatSouthBank stalls and taking in the stunning riverfront and city views. (not to mention the locally locally brewed beers and seasonal cocktails!)

OPENING PARTY

Grazed and Grown by Regional Flavours will kick off at 6pm on Friday, June 18, with the Opening Party.

Slip into the weekend, with your most fancied frock and join in the festivities in one of South Bank's most scenic and coveted riverfront location.

Revel in the ambience of Brisbane's lustrous cityscape, opulent dining, and glittering festoons. Rub shoulders with Australia's revered chefs and taste test the flavours of the inaugural event, with a signature Regional Flavours cocktail on arrival.

Indulge in an exclusive menu of delectable treats, brought to you by South Bank's premium riverfront restaurants, Popolo, The Jetty and Aquitaine; complemented by our best-loved, local tipple producers, Stone & Wood, Brisbane Distillery and Sirromet Wines.

Discover, experience, and enjoy a bite sized sample of what to expect, and what to bookmark for seconds, across the event weekend. All dishes aim to utilise seasonal, sustainable, and local produce within a 250km radius of Brisbane City, hand crafted by the local talent.

Wine, dine and dance into the evening with live DJ sets and a luxe cocktail bar, dishing up craft beer and bespoke beverages with a boujee flair.

LOVE THY NEIGHBOUR

From midday on Saturday, June 19, you can celebrate our Southern neighbours from the small, but mighty, Byron Bay!

Renowned for its vibrant community spirit, unrivalled landscape, and creatives in abundance, it is no wonder that Byron Bay is collating some of the most reputable and innovative restaurateurs in Australia.

From boutique distilleries using locally sourced botanicals, to restaurants harvesting from their own backyard and brewers hungry for change, there is a clear passion for sustainability and social responsibility weaved into all facets of production and product within this foodie cohort.

At Grazed and Grown's Love Thy Neighbour, you're invited to taste the honest, ethical, and celebrated flavours of Harvest Newrybar, Stone & Wood, Brookies Gin and Sirromet Wines; and be privy to how they collaborate to produce enticing and exquisite dishes, paired with cool craft beers, aromatic cocktails or a crisp vino.

WINTER FEAST

As the sun sets and the temperatures drop, embrace the cool, crisp evening air at Grazed and Grown's Winter Feast.

From 6pm on Saturday, June 19, you can delight in a decadent, hearty spread, masterfully created by Australia's magnetic and passionate, Alastair McLeod, with the support of Brookies Gin, Sirromet Wines, Stone & Woodand our local producers, delivering earthy, wholesome, nutrient-rich produce.

Like a warming, comfort food blanket, melt from the inside out with three mouth-watering bites on offer, washed down with a selection of rich wines, or full-flavoured, buttery ales.

Celebrate the Winter Solstice and embrace the turn of the sun with a signature Regional Flavour's cocktail on arrival, complemented by ambient live music, the romance of night sky aglow and the warmth of good company.

PERFECT PAIRINGS 

And finally, finish off the festival weekend by celebrating Australia's drunk in love with boutique breweries, distilleries and artisan wines; paired perfectly with our nonchalant nature and envious alfresco climate.

Join in from Midday on Sunday, June 20, and celebrate the trending culture kings of craft beer, gin and organic wine at Grazed and Grown's Crafted.

Be awed by the meticulous craftmanship behind Stone & Wood and Brisbane Distillery and indulge in their exceptionally palatable gin and craft beer in Brisbane's beloved backyard; and for those craving the taste of Queensland's premium grapes, Sirromet Wines will be serving up their unique rich wines into the evening.

Get your camera's poised and Instagram stories prepped, with each gin infused cocktail set to hero artistically styled, delicate botanicals.

Complementing this prevalent pair will be a selection of bites encapsulating the elegant, saporous flavours of botanical ingredients, with a native twist, by local and highly praised chef, Josh Lopez.

All Signature Events will be hosted at River Quay Green and ticketholders must be over the age of 18. Ticketholders will receive a Signature Regional Flavours Spritz on arrival, two beverages redeemable at the event bar and three varied dishes.
