Tourism Noosa and the festival team have redesigned the event into a series of smaller, more frequent events, giving visitors more opportunities to enjoy it.
The second of the seasonal long weekends of foodie experiences, Autumn Fare, runs from March 11-14. It features long lunches, degustation dinners, sunset soirees, guest chefs, cooking classes, food and drink discovery tours and perfect picnic settings.
"A series of events allows us to think differently about the festival and presents opportunities for different collaborations," said festival manager Lee Huber.
Chef Brent Ogilvie from Ogilvie Group (Rickys, Wood Fire Grill, Locale, Aromas Noosa and Maravista Farm) agrees: "It's great to see the festival evolving like this and being able to continue showcasing Noosa's wonderful food, produce and drink offerings, especially in these challenging times".
Barefoot luxury
FOR those looking for somewhere to stay in Noosa, its newest luxury holiday home, Noa by the Beach, is already making waves.
A contemporary redesign of a 1980s beach house, it offers sophisticated yet relaxed barefoot luxury in Little Cove, between Noosa National Park and Little Cove Beach. Owners Debbie Wong and Wes Johnston wanted a family holiday home that was reminiscent of their childhood growing up on the beach.
Backing on to the national park, Noa by the Beach is ideal for a family or group getaway. Sleeping up to 12 people, it comes with a fully-equipped kitchen, spacious open-plan living and dining with an indoor fireplace, a media room, six bedrooms (including bunk beds) and four bathrooms.
The expansive deck has a fully covered alfresco area with outdoor kitchen, sitting area, barbecue and heating. Downstairs, the backyard features a pool, trampoline, board racks and plenty of beach and pool toys.
Noosa's main beach and Hastings Street is a 10-minute walk away, while it's a short stroll to Little Cove Beach.
