AFTER a hard year for Central Victoria tourism the annual Maldon Antiques Fair is back once more for its 13th year bringing locals, history buffs and vintage enthusiasts together for a weekend of bargain hunting.
The fair cancelled last year due to COVID 19 - features collectables and vintage items from up to 120 stalls from five states and is just the excuse to gather friends for a road trip to Central Victoria on the weekend of February 20/21.
Gates open at 8am on the Saturday at the Maldon Football Ground in Fountain Street Admission is only $5.
The historic town of Maldon, just 40 kilometres from Bendigo, is regarded as one of Victoria's premier tourist villages with its antiques and collectables shops and its rustic cafes.
For the true antique lover, a trip to neighbouring Inglewood with its award-winning antique stores is the perfect way to extend a weekend of treasure hunting.
