The Happy Prince - inspired by the classic tale of the prince and the little swallow, will be at Sydney's ARO Gallery on William Street from October 13-25.
It features 26 original watercolour paintings on paper and was inspired by both the story and a ballet production Kim helped to devise.
Also an accomplished theatre divisor, director and designer, Kim recently adapted the story for The Australian Ballet in collaboration with choreographer Graeme Murphy.
The ballet premiered at The Queensland Performing Arts Centre in February.
Due to COVID19, planned seasons in Melbourne and Sydney had to be cancelled, but the production inspired the new series of watercolours.
"It has been a joy to harness all my visual references from Wilde's book," Kim said.
