KATE Ceberano fans are in for a treat tomorrow (Sunday) - a concert live from St Kilda's MEMO Music Hall for just $10.
The iconic Melbourne venue will transition from dance hall to digital venue when it launches its live streaming concerts with Kate Ceberano & Co at 7.30pm.
Given the size of the MEMO Music Hall - 750 sq m - musicians are able to perform the required two metres apart, meeting current government indoor workplace social distancing guidelines.
Ceberano was originally due to perform the same show live at MEMO with her band, a loose collective of friends and players, on Sunday. That show has now been rescheduled until October 18.
"Please join us as we navigate unchartered waters and put our virtual music hall @memomusichall on the map," Ceberano said.
"And give me something to focus my dreams on ... see you Sunday, people."
Ceberano will be joined by Kathleen Halloran, Jess Fairlie and Dave Matthews - "all at an acceptable distance".
MEMO's management team, Leticia Maher and Simon Myers, said it was important to continue to support artists and the live music industry at this time.
"This is the first of many others we are planning into the future," they said.
As the venue is receiving many enquiries about its live streaming, the pair suggested early bookings to help avoid any last-minute hickups.
