A WORLD famous duo of comedic magicians heads Down Under for their first ever Australian shows in April.
Famous Las Vegas duo Penn & Teller will perform at Queensland's QPAC Concert Hall from April 7-11 and Sydney's Capitol Theatre from April 14-21.
The tour was originally planned for January, but cancelled because Teller required surgery.
Teller said he had visited Australia many times, but was excited to be performing here for the first time.
"I've loved Australia for the last 30 years," he said. "I learned to scuba dive in Cairns, I've eaten gelato at Sydney's Circular Quay and seen Shakespeare at the Opera House.
"I've scouted an underwater TV special near Melbourne, I've been bug-eyed at the naked sculptures at MONA and the amazing underground art museum in Hobart, Tasmania.
"We are so excited to be performing in Brisbane and Sydney."
The lifelong friends have had a career spanning almost half a century, with a distinctive act combining tricks, comedy and "blunders".
They have performed on Broadway, appeared in hit TV shows including Friends, The Simpsons, Modern Family and The Big Bang Theory, and share a star on the Hollywood Walk of Fame.
They were also stars of the acclaimed Showtime series Penn & Teller: BS! and are hosts of hit show Penn & Teller: Fool Us!, as seen on ABC's comedy channel.
Tickets will be available from January 30. Prices for Sydney start at $59 plus booking fee and Brisbane from $109 plus transaction fee.
