RARE plants, specialist nurseries, bespoke handcrafted sculpture, garden furniture, gardening tools and books: a garden lover's dream come true.
One of Victoria's finest gardens will be a hive of activity when Mount Macedon and District Horticultural Society holds its Garden Lovers' Fair on October 5-6.
Historic Bolobek is listed on the Victorian Heritage Register, and the fair provides an opportunity to see behind the hedges of this working farm and garden at the foot of the Macedon Ranges.
Renowned garden designer Paul Bangay will also be on hand to share his love and knowledge of gardening.
More than 45 new and returning stallholders, including Antique Perennials, Post Office Farm Nursery, Obscure Bulbs and Secret Rose Garden, will be represented.
The garden will be open 10am-4pm both days, with guided tours by the owner and head gardener at 2.30pm.
Tickets are available online: $12 adults or $20 for a weekend pass; under-15s free.
