Using state-of-the-art metal 3D printing technology, a custom-made titanium frame is created, designed specifically for the patient and perfectly contoured to fit against their natural jaw bone.
"Our planning 3D digitisation process guarantees absolute clinical accuracy and a perfect fit to the patient's new teeth, eliminating the need both for complex implant surgery, or traditional impression based dental care," said Dr Coceancig.
"Placing the new teeth is done through bio-medical engineering, reducing the negative risks of traditional implant treatment on jaw joint health, sinuses or local nerves."
The pain-free procedure is performed in hospital, and recovery is with trained hospital staff to maximise comfort.
Once fitted, the titanium implant lies almost entirely hidden, and underneath the gum tissue.
