The man behind Hollywood's hottest muscle cars has pimped out hot rod wheels for a pawfect speedster in Victoria.

Dennis McCarthy, the mastermind behind car designs in The Fast and Furious franchise, has turned his hand to a twin turbo wheelchair for a dog named Lady.
Lady's hot rod has even been decked out with spinning gold rims, custom-made V6 headers and a speaker system to give her extra speed for sprints across any track.
Mr McCarthy, who also made cars for stunts in Blade Runner and Avengers: Infinity War, put a swagger back in her step with a candy purple spoiler and gold flames on the back.
"When I got that phone call, I was like 'we build cars with 800 horsepower you want us to do that for a dog?'. This is something that was new and completely different than anything else we have ever done," Mr McCarthy said.
"We were definitely confident it was going to work and it really just came out better than we anticipated."
Eric Shimp, who works at Mr McCarthy's Vehicle Effects, said it was a joy to upgrade the stock wheelchair sent to the United States of America.
"We powder-coated that a nice candy purple, we added some coil-over shocks, powder coated the coils to match ... every dog needs spinning rims on their wheelchair. We got her some nice big fat tyres," he said among the list of add-ons.
"Dogs can be picky, but I think that Lady will be really happy with the build."
Lady's new wheels are courtesy of RACV teaming up with four acclaimed artists to launch its pet insurance to cover animals "for their overconfidence" on Monday.
Priscilla, Queen of the Desert costume designer Tim Chapel has made lion mane cones to give 800 cats extra roar while Bondi Ink tattoo artist Gareth Davies and heavy metal illustrator James Jirat Patradoon put their designs on bandages and plaster casts.
