A FREE shuttle bus will transport visitors on a convenient loop from Canberra’s parking areas to some of its most loved cultural attractions and places of interest.
The Culture Loop shuttle bus is a joint six-month pilot venture among 10 organisations and will run seven days a week from 9am-5pm with nine conveniently situated stops.
The bus route will include stops at: the National Museum of Australia; National Film and Sound Archive; Regatta Point, home to the National Capital Exhibition and VisitCanberra's Canberra and Region Visitor Centre; National Library of Australia, Questacon; Museum of Australian Democracy at Old Parliament House; Australian Parliament House; Canberra Museum and Gallery; and the Canberra Centre.
The shuttle bus will take about one hour for a round trip allowing visitors to park once and ride the shuttle to their favourite venues and experience an array of exhibitions, galleries, collections, stories and events.
The bus has a seating capacity of 39 people (plus 22 standing) with wheelchair access, air conditioning, front and centre double doors, and accessibility for people using mobility aids.
