Pasta and pedals

On the new Rolling Gnocchi Cycle Tour learn the secrets of Italian pasta making and sample delicious local fare on this 10km cycle tour of Myrtleford, with most cycling along the Murray to Mountains Rail Trail.
Learn how to make gnocchi like an expert with Roberto Parolin from Cafe Delize and, while the sauce is bubbling, head out on a leisurely guided pedal to nearby farm gates and cellar doors. Return for a well-earned authentic Italian feast.

Tucker trails
Join local historian Ken Bell from the Falls Creek Museum on a meandering 4km walk taking in iconic cattlemen’s huts and the stunning scenery of the Bogong High Plains on the Tales, Trails & Tucker at Falls Creek tour.
The walk takes around three hours, going from Wallaces Hut through to Cope Hut.

Pick your own
In Stanley check out Black Barn Farm, a new heritage apple orchard grown using sustainable Permaculture methods.
Stanley is an 1850’s colonial gold rush town and now horticulture hotspot. And here Black Barn Farm owners owners Charlie Showers and Jade Miles have set up their orchards.
From this December, they will open Black Barn Farm’s sister orchard, Europa Gully, for pick-your-own cherries and apples.
Meanwhile, back at the Barn, choose from the 70 different varieties of heritage trees offered for sale or sign on for one of their regular workshops in everything from grafting to seed saving to learning how to be a sustainable gardener.
