PRICES have taken a nose-dive on Astor’s final Australian cruising season.
Savvy travellers can now experience Cruise & Maritime Voyages’ Astor for up to 60 per cent off.
The deal applies to new bookings made before September 3.
With fares starting from just $96 per person per night, passengers can enjoy voyages from Auckland, Adelaide, Sydney and Fremantle, visiting Kangaroo Island, Tasmania, Esperance, Bali and more.
The sale also includes journeys through the Caribbean, South Pacific and Africa incorporating London and Cape Town.
Known for her warm, country-club ambiance, Astor carries 550 passengers in 289 staterooms and has built an enviable reputation for traditional, boutique cruising.
The sailings on offer range from three-night voyages to 54-night experiences.
At 21,000 tonnes, Astor noses into harbours off limits to many larger ships. In addition to her indoor and outdoor pool, guests can enjoy a gym, state-of-the-art spa, an expansive sports deck, four dining venues and two lounges.
The ship promises spectacular cabaret-style entertainment in the Astor Show Lounge.
After six years of cruising from Fremantle and Adelaide, Astor will sail Australian shores with Cruise & Maritime Voyages for the last time next March. CMV’s new ship Vasco da Gama will join the fleet from April and will begin its first Australian season in December 2019.
