Police investigating the importation of illicit drugs have raided a Central Coast property.
According to witnesses, about 12 fully armed riot police stormed a holding yard on the corner of Gavenlock Road and Anzac Avenue in Tuggerah at around 8.40am on Friday.
The Public Order and Riot Squad evacuated workers from the site and opened up shipping containers before a number of detectives went in to speak to people still inside the building.
The planned police operation was still underway at 9.30am as officers remained at the scene.
According to NSW Police the operation is part of an ongoing investigation by the Organised Crime Squad.
Further information about the incident is expected to be made public later in the day.
