A RESEARCHER is looking for childless senior women who have partners and live in or around Sydney to participate in an ongoing study.
Naomi Menahem, who is studying remotely from Deakin University and living in Bondi, is looking to examine the modern increase in female childlessness.
In 2008, the Australian Bureau of Statistics revealed numbers of childless women had almost doubled over the previous two decades.
Naomi is seeking women who are aged 60-75 years-old and childless.
She said while the study was ongoing, the majority of respondents she had heard from so far were single and she was now looking for women with partners in order to balance out her study.
"As a woman with no children myself, I am particularly interested in this phenomenon. So much so, I decided to complete a PhD at Deakin University to make more sense of my own experiences," Naomi said.
She would like to hear from any women in the Sydney area who match her criteria and can be contacted via phone and email.
