UNTIL now, the Arctic has been a destination reserved for the intrepid adventurer or the wealthy. However, with the launch of Book Lapland, the Arctic region is now open for independent travellers with a new simple booking window to activities across Lapland.
The site has worked with activity providers across Norway, Sweden and Finland to create a central location where visitors can check availability and book activities online, at exactly the same price as if you went to the providers directly.
According to one of the founders, Chad Blakley, the Arctic region has never been easy for independent travellers to plan a trip and book activities.
He said Book Lapland enabled independent travellers to build their own Arctic adventure from more than130 activities such as experiencing the Northern Lights or Midnight Sun, dog sledding and snowmobiling.
