IT'S a sight everyone wants to see but it's also the most elusive. Nobody can predict just when Japan's famous cherry blossom trees will be at their peak of bloom.
Unexpected weather conditions can alter the display by more than a week.
However, Toursgallery is offering an exclusive small group tour that will visit 10 gardens in Japan at the peak of cherry blossom time.
To guarantee the most blooms, the tour takes in five climatic zones.
In some locations trees will be in full bloom, while in others the trees will still be in bud or be carpeting the ground with falling petals.
Gardens include the serene Ryoanji Stone Garden, Ritsurin and Korakuen, Kinkakuji with its much photographed Golden Pavilion, as well as Rikugien and Hama Rikyu in Tokyo.
Because the best cherry blossoms aren't always found in famous gardens, the tour will also visit national parks and rural villages.
Beginning in Tokyo on March 29, this fully escorted first class tour is priced at $10,850 per person twin share.
