GOOGLE has just made planning a holiday much easier.
The tech giant has launched Google Trips, a personalised travel assistant app.
The app allows users to access personalised travel information with a tap of the finger.
It automatically accesses information, such as emails from travel agents and booking sites, from the user's Gmail account (with user permission) to organise a travel itinerary on behalf of the user.
It then stores this information offline in the one spot, which saves travellers from trying to find a Wifi connection and search through their inbox when abroad.
One of the app's most exciting features is its recommendations.
Travellers can receive information on popular sites, attractions and local gems - and Google has already figured out the best way to pack all this into the day.
It also helps the user to create their own itinerary. Travellers simply set a must see location and the app formulates interesting activities in the same area.
The app even offers restaurant recommendations nearby, so travellers don't have to waste time wandering for somewhere to eat.
The free app is available on Google Play and the Apple store.
