Rikki Organ died in Wollongong on 2 August after a seven year battle with blood cancer.
Rikki was well known on the Australian club circuit belting out the favourites by Elvis Presley, Johnny O’Keefe and many more rock and rollers.
Rikki’s funeral was held in the auditorium of the Illawarra Master Builders Club in Wollongong. It was his final show which featured a video compilation of past performances.
Despite the sombre occasion the audience respected Rikki’s final wish and dressed in kaleidoscope of bright colours.
They also gave him a standing ovation as he bowed out.
Scott Radburn and Graham Wilson of the Four Kinsmen were among mourners.
Rikki is survived by his wife Jane and two children, Taylour'e Louise and Tyne-James.
