Election 2016
The Northside Forum is holding a special Federal election forum on Saturday June 25.
Four expert speakers will be on hand to discuss the proposed policies from both major parties regarding education, the environment, the economy and health.
Medical practitioner and politician Arthur Chesterfield-Evans will be discussing health. Dr Chesterfield-Evans is a former member of the Legislative Council of NSW, which he served from 1998 - 2007. Joining him is Mark Diesendorf, the association professor in Interdisciplinary Environmental Studies at University of NSW.
A former principal research scientist at CSIRO, Dr Diesendorf will be speaking about the environment and environmental policies.
NSW Teachers' Federation president Maurie Mulheron will be speaking about education and Sydney University Emeritus Professor in Political Economy Frank Stilwell will be discussing the economy.
The free forum will be held from 12pm until 2pm at the Union Street Hotel in North Sydney.
