Having made her career as a recording artist, theatre star and cabaret performer throughout the 70s, 80s and 90s, Julie Anthony was a household name in Australia.
It was the late Ernie Sigley who recognised early on just what a talent Julie was. He invited her on his show after seeing her win a TV talent quest.
Now the songstress has brought together 20 of her favourite songs in a CD album titled Julie Anthony-memories, the ultimate collection.
The songs have all been immensely popular in Australia - Burn For You; We Don't Talk Anymore; Some Enchanted Evening; Horses; I Dreamed A Dream...
And, of course, Advance Australia Fair, featuring Human Nature, James Morrison, Sydney Philharmonia Choirs, Sydney University Musical Society and Sing 2001 Choir.
- Julie Anthony-memories, the ultimate collection CD, from music stores for approx. $19.95.
